The TOBIT10-160SDS is a 10mm x 160mm SDS HQ Masonry Drill Bit designed for drilling accurate holes in concrete, masonry, stone, bricks, and blockwork. It features a 10mm diameter and a full length of 160mm, with an effective working length typically around 150mm. The drill bit utilizes an SDS Plus shank, ensuring compatibility with SDS Plus rotary hammer drills. Its robust Tungsten Carbide Alloy Cross Tip (YG8C) is engineered for easy penetration of hard surfaces, precise drilling, and enhanced wear resistance for a longer lifespan. The drill body is constructed from durable 40 Chrome Steel, treated to 45-50 H.R.C degrees, while the carbide tip achieves 88-89.5 H.R.A. degrees. It features a 4-flute helix design for efficient and immediate dust removal, maintaining fast drilling speeds and providing a clean finish. The surface is sand blasted, and the tip welding is a combination of automatic and hand processes. This drill bit is ideal for a wide range of applications, including installing anchors or fasteners, drilling holes for rebar doweling, and creating pass-throughs for plumbing, HVAC, conduit, or wiring.
